i watched this movie few years ago ( if i don't make an error ) and i am still scared ( yes i am very sensitive, everything scares me
yeah the knife is an obvious symbol of violence in both a social context and it's physical properties, but the wires' more erratic shapes give the piece a lot more movement whereas previous pieces, say I, II or VIII, have a more gentle, creeping, probing feeling. pretty much what you said actually.
a lot of this series are about sadness, it's why they are less violent...
