this is so hard and sharp and uncompromising. it's menacing. somewhere between organic and inorganic yet not quite either. if you haven't already seen that "tetsuo: ironman" film i recommend it
you are right. something between organic and inorganic? and it's certainly the most violent and agressive i made from this serie. i watched this movie few years ago ( if i don't make an error ) and i am still scared ( yes i am very sensitive, everything scares me )
yeah the knife is an obvious symbol of violence in both a social context and it's physical properties, but the wires' more erratic shapes give the piece a lot more movement whereas previous pieces, say I, II or VIII, have a more gentle, creeping, probing feeling. pretty much what you said actually.
